The Meadows Casino will host its second Blackjack Tournament to benefit Monongahela Valley Hospital Feb. 19.
Attendees can choose to participate in one of three ways: food and entertainment only, high roller experience or tournament player. All three levels include food, drink specials and entertainment in Headliners Lounge, including a music video recording session.
Cost for food and entertainment only participants is $35. High roller experience costs $50 and includes $25 in slot play. Tournament players participate in one of four rounds of competitive play beginning at 5:45 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:15 p.m. or 8 p.m. Winners advance to the finals at 9:15 p.m. Monetary prizes for all six finalists begin at $250 with the top prize of $5,000. Participation at this level costs $250 donation and is limited to the first 72 players.
“No Bad Juju,” an eight-piece band, will perform at 7 p.m. They will record a music video with attendees while playing a mix of classic R&B, rock and cutting-edge contemporary.
