Indecent assault alleged against Waynesburg man
WAYNESBURG – State police said a Waynesburg woman was assaulted Tuesday morning when she took her 2-year old son to see his father at his residence.
The woman told police she sat on a couch and Christopher Paul Moore, 27, of 116 Valley Farm Dr., Waynesburg, began to tickle her. She said she told him to stop. Instead, he attempted to remove her belt and pants and forced her onto the floor, according to a criminal complaint filed before Greene County Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates.
Police said the woman alleged Moore then held her down while sexually assaulting her. She said Moore then went into another room to get their son but refused to give the boy to her when he returned. She told police she attempted to hit Moore but missed.
Moore allegedly threw her onto the couch and punched her in the head, causing her to sustain a black eye and cut above the eye.
Moore was placed in Greene County jail on a $10,000 percentage bond for charges of indecent assault, simple assault and harassment.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Feb. 26 before Bates.
