The 41st annual Shakespeare Festival will be held at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus from Monday to Friday in the Maggie Hardy Magerko auditorium in the campus’ community center. All events are free and open to the public.

This year’s festival will include two workshops that will help students hone their Shakespearean acting skills.

The first workshop will be led by the National Players, who have performed at the White House in addition to touring 40 states and 10 countries. The workshop titled “Actors’ Journey Through Shakespeare,” will be held at noon on Monday, Jan. 28.

The National Players also will perform “Romeo and Juliet” at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Shakespeare-in-the-Schools will perform “Her Hamlet” at noon Thursday and present an acting demonstration on “Taking Shakespeare from Page to Stage” at noon Friday.
