Child endangerment charge: Cumberland Township police charged Christopher W. Davis, 29, of 220 Kurans Road, Carmichaels, with child endangerment, reckless endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers said he overdosed on heroin while caring for a 2-year-old boy on April 13. Police said the boy found a used hypodermic needle next to Davis in the bathroom and carried it into the home’s living room with it, prompting another occupant to call for help. Medics responded to the house and revived Davis, police said.
Assault charge: Dylan Metcalf, 24, of 243 Third Ave., Crucible, faces charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after Cumberland Township police said he choked and struck his wife in the head during an argument at their home early Monday morning. He was arraigned by District Judge Lee Watson and released on $5,000 bond.
Harassment citation: State police said they cited Luke Spencer, 30, of Hundred, W.Va., for harassment after he allegedly threatened another man on April 14 while at the Graysville Store at 169 Main St. in Gray Township.
Snow blower stolen: A snow blower was stolen from inside a garage along Mapletown Road in Monongahela Township between March 13 and 22, state police said.
Metal pipe theft: Scott A. Rolf, 44, of Clarksville, was charged Wednesday with theft and receiving stolen property after state police accused him of stealing metal pipe from the Washington Township public works shed at 112 Municipal Lane in July 2013.
Burglary: State police said a home at 881 Mount Morris Road in Whiteley Township was burglarized April 15 and loose change was stolen from inside.
