Terroristic threats charge: Robert L. Byers Jr., 27, of 130 Christman Ave., East Washington, is charged by state police with making terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police accuse Byers of threatening to kill Amanda Rose Melhorn with a handgun about 5 p.m. Sunday at a residence on Amity Ridge Road. District Judge Larry Hopkins sent him to Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. He posted bond Monday.

Disturbance: Alexander G. Adams, 21, of 214 Elm St., Canonsburg, is charged by borough police with resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct stemming from a disturbance about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Wood Street. He is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

DUI alleged in crash: Robert Noble, 21, of Murrysville, is charged by borough police with driving under the influence of alcohol, flight, drug possession and failure to notify police of an accident. Police said Noble led officers on a foot chase after crashing his vehicle into a hillside on Highland Drive about 12:30 a.m. Sunday. He is accused of possessing a small amount of crack and 10 doses of prescription medication at the time of his arrest. He is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Assault case: Donald S. Knupp Jr., 27, of 246 E. Prospect Ave., Washington, is charged by state police with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief, accused of pushing Diona Vaughn and throwing objects he pulled from her vehicle Saturday at Red Roof Inn, 1399 W. Chestnut St. He is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Counterfeit money: Two counterfeit $50 bills were reportedly passed by a quick-change artist Friday at Papa John’s, Cavasina Drive, Canonsburg police said.

Bench stolen: Billie Jo Pustovrh of 249 Smithfield St. told Canonsburg police Thursday that a picnic bench was stolen from outside her home.

Police pursuit: Matthew D. Heim, 22, of 37 Stonecrest Lane, Cecil, is charged by township police with fleeing or eluding police and reckless endangerment, accused of driving a motorcycle nearly 100 mph while fleeing from an attempted traffic stop about 10:10 p.m. March 18 at Southpointe Boulevard and Morganza Road. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond after being arraigned Sunday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Laptop damaged: Klynton Walker, 31, of Waynesburg, will be charged by state police with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after he allegedly threw a couch, recliner and laptop out of a home at 527 Front St., East Bethlehem, and onto the street Saturday. The laptop was damaged. The items are owned by Breanna Bane of Fredericktown.

Man jailed: Michael A. Mitko, 55, of 353 Paris Colliers Road, Burgettstown, is charged by township police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, accused of pushing a woman in his residence about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. He was sent to Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins. He posted bond Monday.

Backhoe damaged: McDonald police said the side window of a backhoe owned by the borough was broken last week. The door also was damaged while the backhoe was parked at the public works building, 398 O’Hara St.

Marijuana charge: Zachary Zeroski, 22, of 351 Kay St., McDonald, was charged Monday with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia stemming from an April 6 traffic stop on East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.

Two charged: Clifford M. Van Kirk III, 20, of 415 Park Ave., North Franklin, and Anthony Buchanan, 20, of 689 N. Main St., Washington, were charged by North Franklin police with public drunkenness stemming from a disturbance Friday night on West Maiden Street. Van Kirk was placed in Washington County jail on a probation detainer.

Shoes damaged: Clark C. Campbell, 31, of 347 E. Pike St., Houston, was charged by North Franklin police with misdemeanor retail theft after he allegedly damaged two pairs of tennis shoes while attempting to steal the items from Sears, Washington Crown Center, on Wednesday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Mug stolen: Frank D. Harouse, 24, of 19 Brown St., Southview, was charged by North Franklin police with misdemeanor retail theft after he allegedly stole a travel mug from Gander Mountain, Washington Crown Center, last week. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Two injured: Jason Grose, 25, of Canonsburg, and Alexas Fowler, 20, no address available, were injured just before 6 p.m. Sunday when the side-by-side all-terrain vehicle Grose was operating crashed in a field off Shepard Lane, police said. Grose was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of a head injury. Fowler was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for evaluation.

Counterfeit money: State police said a counterfeit $100 bill was passed early Sunday at The Meadows Casino, Racetrack Road, North Strabane.

Two face charges: Julian Gallegos, 21, of 3640 Route 40, Washington, and Jessie Greco, 21, of 3 Upper Cove Road, Washington, face charges of retail theft and theft by deception. Gallegos is accused of stealing fishing rods from Walmart, Trinity Point, Sunday and allegedly gave the merchandise to Greco to return for gift cards, South Strabane police said. The cards were canceled before they were used, police said. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Warrants served: William Sadler, 51, who uses several Washington addresses, was arrested Saturday on separate warrants charging him with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Washington police accused him of having a small amount of marijuana and a bag of cocaine Oct. 10 in the 100 block of Henderson Avenue. State police accused him of having nearly six grams of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana Oct. 1, 2013, in the 10 block of East Chestnut Street. Sadler is free on $50,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Package stolen: William Lipscomb of 451 Third St. told Washington police Friday that a package delivered to him Wednesday by United Parcel Service was stolen from outside his home. The package contained a Samsung Galaxy 6 cellphone valued at $800.

Woman assaulted: Darnell S. Brown, 36, of 439 Fayette St., was charged Monday by Washington police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched Kayla Camp, 23, in the face and knocked her to the ground during a confrontation at their home Friday. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Car stolen: Ian Bryner of 25 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Friday that his green, 1994 Buick sedan was stolen from outside his home. The license plate is JPT-6785.

Trespass charge: Leslie Anne Arndt, 46, and Donald Levers, 43, both of 17 Thayer St., Washington, were charged by Washington police with criminal trespass after they allegedly were found sleeping inside a home at 741 Fayette St. Saturday. The homeowner called police after learning the door had been kicked open.

Home entered: Rodnea Long of 208 Lincoln Terrace told Washington police Saturday items were damaged inside her home. Police said there was no sign of forced entry. On Sunday, she called to report that an intruder was trying to kick in her rear door.

Items stolen: Richard Fields, 45, of 460 Addison St., will be charged with retail theft by Washington police after he allegedly stole items from Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., Saturday.

Windshield damaged: James Palmer of 97 Walnut St. told Washington police the windshield of his vehicle was damaged Saturday.

Window broken: Sherri McDonnell of 275 North Ave. told Washington police early Sunday that a window at her apartment was broken by vandals.

Wires cut: Raine Davidson of 515 Fayette St. told Washington police Sunday the lock on her door and cable lines were cut by vandals.

Coins stolen: William J. O’Brien of Pittsburgh told Washington police Sunday that coins were stolen from her car while it was parked in the city parking garage at 95 W. Beau St.

Television stolen: Clifford Terrell Jr. of 145 ½ Baird Ave. told Washington police Sunday a 32-inch television was stolen from his home.

False identification: Jason L. Hartzell, 35, and Tiffany D. Hodgson,25, both of 276 North Ave., Washington, were charged with providing false identification after a traffic stop March 21 along Maple Avenue, city police said. Hartzell was also charged with criminal solicitation, driving while operating privileges were suspended or revoked, failing to maintain registration and unauthorized transfer of registration. Hodgson was also charged with criminal conspiracy. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
