Lane restrictions begin on Parkway West

Single-lane restrictions will be in effect on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 376 beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, according to the state Department of Transportation.

PennDOT crews will be installing temporary rumble strips in order to enhance work zone safety. The lane restrictions will remain in place in conjunction with the inbound single-lane overnight closures of the Fort Pitt Tunnel.

Crews will be working just east of the Banksville interchange and near the Fort Pitt Tunnel entrance.
