Cecil Township Historical Society will host a fundraiser at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cecil Township Municipal Building. Cost is $2. Pam Nixon will present a program on coal mining. Donations can be made to the coal miners memorial being built at Cecil Park.
Chartiers-Houston Class of 1957 will meet at 1 p.m. April 23 at Tower Restaurant, Washington.
Chartiers-Houston Community Library, 730 W. Grant St., Houston, will hold its annual book sale Wednesday through April 22. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
