Storm knocks out power for Washington residents

More than 1,000 Washington residents were without power Tuesday night after powerful storms came through the area and a pole was damaged, West Penn Power spokesman Todd Meyers said. The majority of the outages were restored shortly after 11 p.m. and the remainder were restored around 3 a.m. this morning.
