Country music will be featured at New Freeport fire hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Bands to perform are Back Roads and Country Sounds. Admission is $4. The event benefits the fire company’s ladies auxiliary.

The Greene County Coonhunters Association is holding its annual rabies clinic at the Dunkard Valley Gun Club from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Pet owners who wish to have their dogs or cats vaccinated for rabies or other diseases can come to the gun club at 200 Morris Run Road in Brave. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be kept in carriers.

The Kelly Miller Circus will be performing on May 19 for two shows at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children. Advance tickets are available at Mt. Morris Pharmacy in Mt. Morris, McCracken’s Pharmacy and Greene County Historical Society in Waynesburg, Brodaks Shop ‘n Save in Carmichaels, and Giant Eagle grocery stores in Waynesburg and Dry Tavern. Tickets the day of the performance will be $16 for adults and $8 for children.

The Warrior Trail Association will be hosting an educational presentation by Native American re-enactor Ghost in the Head about the traditions of his Huron heritage. He has appeared in many documentaries pertaining to the 18th century time period and has received two letters of recognition from the U.S. Congress for his portrayal of Huron heritage. The free presentation is open to the public and will be part of a covered dish meeting at 6:30 p.m. May 21 at the Warrior Trail headquarters in Fordyce.
