Disorderly charge: Steven B. Hoke, 24, of Pittsburgh, was cited by California Borough police for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for allegedly damaging walls and fixtures in a bathroom early Saturday in J Coles Inn, Third Street.

Domestic disturbance: California Borough police were called to a Porcupine Way apartment at 3 a.m. Saturday for a domestic dispute between Diquan Griffith, 20, of Philadelphia, and Maleke R. Ross, 20, of Philadelphia. Ross allegedly became hostile and was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling at night, underage drinking and criminal mischief for breaking a door window, police said. Griffith is charged with obstructing administration of law, disorderly conduct and harassment for allegedly trying to pull Ross from police and running to avoid apprehension. Charges against Ross were filed with District Judge Joshua P. Kanalis. She is awaiting preliminary arraignment.

PFA violations: Michael L. Nixon, 50, of 1040 Bruce St., Canton, was arrested by state police Monday night for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order obtained by Tina Nixon. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released from Washington County jail Tuesday after posting $1,000 of a $10,000 percentage bond.

Man jailed: Peri Youngblood, 22, of 999 Thompson Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with illegal use of a credit card and receiving stolen property, court records show. He is accused of using another man’s credit card to make two small purchases in March. He is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Theft arrests: Frantz Morris Jr., 25, of Littleton, W.Va., and Samantha Strahan, 18, of Redwood Drive, Ellsworth, were arraigned early Tuesday on warrants obtained by state police on theft charges. The two are accused of stealing a queen-size mattress, television and pots and pans from a home at 27 S. Main St., Ellsworth, March 14. They were arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on a charge of theft and released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

Retail theft arrest: Michelle J. Trout, 45, of 390 Lynn Portal Road, Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon by North Strabane police on a felony charge of retail theft for allegedly stealing items from Sheetz, 2401 Washington Road. She was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Club cited: The operators of Keystone Progressive Association of Washington, 217 S. Main St., were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for possessing gambling devices. The alleged violation took place April 3.

Assault charge: Donald E. Gray, 52, of 663 Wilmington Ave., Washington, was charged by city police with simple assault. According to the complaint, Gray allegedly punched Albert Franjione of Washington in the face, possibly breaking his nose. A complaint was filed Tuesday with District Judge Robert Redlinger and charges will be sent by summons.
