Harassment citation: Brian M. Miller, 24, of 245 Center St., Carmichaels, was cited for harassment after state police said he punched a man in the face at his borough home April 28.
Marijuana charge: John R. Phillips, 18, of 183 Neff Road, Jefferson, was charged with marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, corruption of a minor and underage purchase of alcohol following a traffic stop on Old Waynesburg Road in Cumberland Township Feb. 28, township police said. Police filed the charges Tuesday.
Boy struck with dog chain: State police said they cited Loretta L. Horner, 34, of 274 Duff St., Bobtown, for harassment after she allegedly struck a 14-year-old boy in the thigh with a dog chain at her home April 26. Police said the boy was not injured.
Simple assault charge: Michael B. McGuire, 27, of Corry, Erie County, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly striking his girlfriend in the mouth while at the Comfort Inn motel in Franklin Township May 8. Police said the woman left the room and hid in an area behind the motel’s front desk, prompting McGuire to shout for her to come out and speak with him. McGuire was arraigned by District Judge Lee Watson and remains in Greene County jail on $5,000 bond.
Disorderly conduct: Charles L. Jones, 44, of 149 Homeville Road, was cited for disorderly conduct after state police said he shouted obscenities and made threatening gestures to a woman directing traffic at a gas well entrance near his Morgan Township residence Tuesday shortly before midnight.
