Washington Park roads are deplorable

I am fed up with the roads in Washington Park. They are absolutely deplorable, and are in the worst shape since I can remember.
The potholes behind the park’s Pinto Field are so deep, cars have to drive on the side of the hill. The area by the Lew Hays Pony Field is just as bad.
Washington Youth Baseball and Twist Softball pay not only taxes, but also pay the city $1,500 per field in rent every year. I think the city can muster up a little cold patch.
If you rented a house and your landlord didn’t make the necessary repairs, the landlord would be considered a slumlord. Well, the same goes for the city.
