WAYNESBURG – Greene County Planning Commission Monday reviewed plans for improvements to a campground at Ryerson Station State Park and granted final conditional approval to plans for a drug treatment clinic at Paisley Industrial Park.

The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources proposed to make improvements to Polly Hill Campground at Ryerson Park.

The work will include construction of a shower house and three camping cottages. The cottages will be built near the two existing cottages.

The project also will involve extending sewer lines to the campground and adding five hook-ups for recreational vehicles at the campgrounds.

The project was granted preliminary approval.

The commission also granted final approval with conditions to DJ Realty Holdings LLC to construct a medical building for addiction services at Paisley Industrial Park in Cumberland Township.

A 4,800-square-foot building with 50 parking spaces will be constructed on Industrial Park Road inside the park. The plans received preliminary approval in March.

To receive final approval, the developer must receive approval of the project’s stormwater management plan and a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit.
