William III and Diana Zoeller of Claysville announce the engagement of their son, David, to Shara Johnson, daughter of Sherry Johnson of California and Denny Johnson of Stockdale.

Mr. Zoeller’s grandparents are William Jr. and Carolyn Zoeller and Mary Knox of Claysville and the late George Knox. His fianceé’s grandparents are Elizabeth Johnson of Stockdale and the late Jake Johnson and Ella Platter of California and

the late George Platter.

The future groom is a 2007 graduate of McGuffey High School and is employed in the front office of Med Express Urgent Care.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Charleroi Area High School and earned two degrees from California University of Pennsylvania. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders in 2011 and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2014. She is an outpatient child therapist at Family Behavioral Resources.

A Sept. 19 wedding is planned.
