State Rep. Brandon Neuman, D-North Strabane Township, is inviting constituents to join his fall bus trip to the Flight 93 National Memorial, the state Capitol and Hershey Chocolate World.

The trip is set for Sept. 29 and will begin with a tour of the Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville, Somerset County.

“Visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial will be an emotional experience,” Neuman said. “It made sense to add the memorial to the itinerary and enable people to honor the crew and passengers who thwarted the hijackers on September 11, 2001.”

Neuman said the next stop will be the 108-year-old Capitol, one of the most beautiful capitols in the country. That will be followed by a visit to Hershey’s Chocolate World – the “Sweetest Place on Earth.”

The cost is $70 and includes lunch at the Capitol and the visits to Hershey and the national memorial.

Pre-registration is required. Residents who need more information or who would like to register may call Neuman’s constituent service office at 724-743-7602.

Neuman represents the 48th Legislative District, which encompasses most of Washington County, including the city of Washington, the boroughs of Canonsburg, East Washington and Houston, as well as Chartiers, North Franklin, North Strabane and South Strabane townships.
