ERIE, Pa. (AP) — One of two men acquitted of homicide in the shooting death of an aspiring rapper in northeastern Pennsylvania last year is scheduled to go on trial again next month on charges of voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault.

29-year-old Keith Horton is scheduled for trial Oct. 14 in the November slaying of 21-year-old Arbie Wilson Jr. Horton’s first trial ended in a homicide acquittal and a hung jury on the other charges.

Twenty-six-year-old Jameele Williams was acquitted of murder and manslaughter. Jurors deadlocked on weapons counts and prosecutors say they haven’t decided whether to retry him on those counts.

Authorities alleged that the defendants chased Wilson after a fight at a hotel lounge and killed him in the drive-thru lane of a closed bank.
