Community Action Southwest is recruiting volunteers in Washington and Greene counties to tutor students in its adult education program.

It assists those 17 or older in obtaining their General Educational Development diploma or helps them achieve a goal of enrolling in a trade school or college or finding employment.

Volunteers are needed to assist state-certified teachers with classes in Burgettstown, Bentleyville, Carmichaels, Donora, Washington and Waynesburg.
