Police beat Dec. 19
Items stolen: Adam D. Smith, 22, of Parkersburg, W.Va., told state police a side window of his vehicle was broken while it was parked at the Jessop park and ride and several items were stolen. The break-in occurred between Dec. 12 and Dec. 13.
Assault charge: Lewis Adams, 25, of McKees Rocks, was arraigned before Judge Robert RedlingerThursday on charges of simple assault and harassment after Lewis allegedly struck and choked a woman at 400 Hancock St. on Nov. 11, according to court documents filed by North Franklin police. Adams was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
Retail theft: Lindsay Marie Blon, 28, of Belmont, Ohio; Alyssa L. Crow, 27, of Bellaire, Ohio; and Gregory Keith Henderson, 28, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, were arrested Thursday after the three allegedly stole more than $300 in merchandise from Kohl’s, police said. Each faces charges of retail theft and criminal conspiracy. They were arraigned before Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail, with Blon and Henderson on $10,000 bond while Crow’s bond was set at $5,000.
