Disorderly conduct: Amanda Loar, 42 of Waynesburg, will be cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly requesting police and an ambulance come to her home numerous times Thursday for no reason. State police said when they arrived at her home they were told they were not needed and there was no indication of a crime or an emergency.
Crash: No injuries were reported after a car driven by Nicole Delaney, 26, of Fredericktown ran off Elm Drive at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday and struck a utility pole, state police said.
Bus stop shelter damaged: A car crashed into a bus stop shelter located at Third Street and Locust Avenue in Franklin Township about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, state police said. Police did not identify the driver involved in the crash.
Theft charge: Derrick L. Sampson of 400 E. Franklin St., Waynesburg, was charged with theft after state police said he stole a couch Nov. 4 that was being stored behind a Grandview Drive residence in Franklin Township. Police filed the charge through District Judge Glenn Bates’ office Jan. 15.
No injuries: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday on Route 88. State police said Alex Spell, 25, of Dilliner pulled out onto Route 88 from Greensboro Road. His vehicle was struck by a vehicle north on Route 88 operated by James Qualls, 50, of Big Stone Gap, Va. The impact caused Spell’s vehicle to roll onto its side and slide about 30 feet, police said.
Minor injuries: Four people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 79. State police said a vehicle traveling south, operated by James Parrish, 56, of Waynesburg, struck the guardrails. It was then hit by another southbound vehicle driven by Joseph Grash Jr., 43, of Waynesburg. Parrish and his three passengers all suffered minor injuries.
