CRANBERRY (AP) — Pennsylvania State Police say a man has died in a one-car crash on Interstate 79 in western Pennsylvania.

Police say 23-year-old Daniel E. Weaver, of Cranberry Township in Butler County, was killed when he lost control of his vehicle as he was trying to change lanes.

Police say the car veered off the side of the highway, rolled over several times, then landed on its roof and came to rest on the highway. Police say the driver was thrown out of the car and landed on the highway.

The accident happened shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes of I-79 at the Ehrman Road overpass.
