Air Force National Guard Airman 1st Class Angela N. Terkay graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Terkay, daughter of Rosemary Terkay of Canonsburg, is a 2008 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and earned a master’s degree in 2013 from California University of Pennsylvania.

Sgt. Christy Garlick, formerly of Point Marion, completed the requirements to earn the German Armed Forces Badge for military proficiency. She is stationed at Fort Knox, Ky.
