The Bradford House Museum is looking for volunteers to serve as docents (tour guides). The volunteer application can be found online at www.bradfordhouse.org or call 724-222-3604 for information. References may be requested and criminal background clearances are required by law. A training session is planned for March.
Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 1, at Peters Township Public Library. The program will be “Judging Photographic Competitions – An Inside Look.” It will include a short video of this year’s judge, Blake Ward. An unguided luminary Valentine’s Night Walk will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 on a portion of the paved walking trail at Mingo Creek County Park. Hot chocolate and a campfire will follow at Shelter 4. There is no fee. Dress for the weather and meet at Shelter 4. Registration is required and can be made by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation office at 724-228-6867.
Brownsville Sons & Daughters of Italy, Frank Ricco Lodge 731, 16 Race St., will host a dance featuring DJ Ted Knisley Feb. 13. Doors open at 7 p.m.; dancing will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight.
