Cecil Township supervisors

Action: Supervisors voted to hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 on a planned residential development on McConnell Road. Immediately following the hearing, supervisors plan to hold a workshop to discuss potential changes to ordinances including those regulating small animals, noise and stormwater management. Supervisor Eric Sivavec made a dual motion to advertise for resumes for planning commission and zoning board members – despite the fact there are no vacancies on either board – and for interested residents to submit information to form a new 15-20 person comprehensive plan steering committee. The motion passed 4-1 with Supervisor Cindy Fisher voting no. “I think there’s a motive here,” she said.
Fisher said after the meeting the township is hosting a cardiopulmonary resuscitation class with Southridge EMS March 10 at a cost of $10 per participant.
