Two men are in custody after they were stopped in a car reported stolen in Allegheny County this morning. North Franklin Township police Officer Lyndsi Kopko was monitoring the stop signs at the intersection of Altamont and Reed avenues about 11:30 a.m. when she ran the license plate on the vehicle and it came back stolen. When she stopped the car, one of the occupants fled on foot but was apprehended. The second was taken into custody at the scene. The men will be arraigned this afternoon before District Judge Robert Redlinger on unspecified charges.
