Sock hop planned in New Eagle

Rock ‘n’ roll 50s sock hop will be held Sunday at the Haymakers, 153 Main St., New Eagle.

A free dance lesson on Swing and Jitterbug with professional dance instructor and DJ Brian Lee will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by dancing until 10 p.m.

Cost is $12 and includes pizza and snacks. The event is open to families, teens and singles.
