Szpara maintaining lead in 46th Legislative

Returns from the Democratic ticket in the 46th Legislative race in Washington and Allegheny counties show Joe Szpara of Collier Township with 4,516 votes to that of Jesse White, Cecil Township attorney, who has 4,414. The winner of the Democratic nomination will face incumbent Republican Jason Ortitay in the Nov. 8 general election.
