Lauren Moore was named to the president’s list with a 4.0 GPA at West Virginia University. She is majoring in petroleum/natural gas engineering with a minor in geology. She is secretary for The Society of Women Engineers. Moore is a 2013 graduate of Washington High School. Her parents are James and Paula Moore of Washington.

Erin Ritzer was named to the dean’s list for the sixth consecutive semester at Robert Morris University. Ritzer, a biomedical engineering major and 2013 Bentworth graduate, also received the Dean’s Scholar award for academic excellence and was named to the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll. She is a member of the women’s soccer team and the honors college. She is the daughter of Ed and Linda Ritzer of Scenery Hill.

Alena Weldy graduated summa cum laude from Lake Erie College, Painesville, Ohio, where she earned degrees in biology and criminal justice. She was named to the dean’s list during all six years and a was a member of the Mortar Board and Gamma Phi Beta. She participated in Interim EMT training at CCAC and has been accepted into the Physician Assistant Program at Baldwin Wallace University, Class of 2018. Weldy is a 2009 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and her parents are Dr. Charles and Dr. Kathryn Weldy of Canonsburg.
