Police beat June 6
Vehicle crashes: Patricia Lokorn, 24, of Burgettstown, was cited by state police after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Caldwell and Griffith avenues Sunday. According to the report, Lokorn’s vehicle was struck after she proceeded through the stop sign without clearance. In a separate incident, Donald R. Hanes, 62, of Washington, was cited for proceeding through a stop sign without clearance after a two-vehicle crash Sunday at the intersection of South Hewitt Avenue and McKee Road.
Disorderly charges: Bobby Ray Slone, 57, of Wayland, Ken., and Hobert D. Holbrook, 51, of Prestonsburg, Kan., will each be charged with a count of disorderly conduct for a fight Saturday at a gas well site off of Route 917. State police will also charge Holbrook with criminal mischief for allegedly throwing a steel bar at Slone’s truck.
Harassment charge: Lois Hawkinberry, 64, of East Liverpool, Ohio, will be charged with harassment for allegedly striking Jonathan Bishop, 35, of Kovington, Ind., Sunday. Hawkinberry and Bishop were the drivers in a two-car crash on Route 70 westbound near mile marker 17.5. After the incident, Hawkinberry allegedly exited her car, yelled at Bishop, beat on his window and struck him in the stomach.
