West Greene to honor 49 seniors Friday night
West Greene High School will graduate 49 seniors during its commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday in the middle-high school gymnasium.
The valedictorian is Amanda Frampton and the salutatorian is Sarah Jones.
Amanda, a daughter of Stephen and Debra Frampton, was a member of National Honor Society, international club, art club, Back Pack program and served as Teen Miss Greene County for 2013-14 and 2014-15. Amanda plans to attend West Virginia University to study music.
Sarah, a daughter of Kurt and Connie Jones, was president of Chemistry Club, vice president of Science Club, secretary of the International Club, participated in the Quiz Bowl and played volleyball. She plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study biology.
