Drugs stolen: James Simmons of 1 W. College St. reported Monday someone stole 42 prescription pain pills from his apartment June 16 or 17, Canonsburg police said.
Arraigned in assault: David J. Debold, 55, who has addresses in Charleroi and Pittsburgh, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct filed by Charleroi Regional police, court records show. Police accused him of punching Frank Haney many times in the head and body about 12:50 a.m. Sunday at 332 Washington Ave. District Judge Larry Hopkins set bond at $25,000 for Debold, who was placed in Washington County jail Sunday afternoon in connection with an assault in Carroll Township.
Assault, trespass alleged: Matthew Norquist, 18, of 415 Shady Ave., was arrested Monday on charges of simple assault, harassment, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident June 15 at 838 Shady Ave. in which he entered the residence of a 16-year-old girl who had a protection-from-abuse order against him, Charleroi police said. He allegedly tore her shirt and tried to strike her several times. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Jailed in alleged conspiracy: Malorie L. Adams, 20, of 925 First St., Apartment 1, Nanty Glo, and Dennis J. Carini, 21, of 9 Graham Ave., Belle Vernon, are each charged by Monessen police with conspiracy, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. They are accused of agreeing to trade a stolen television for eight stamp bags of heroin about 4 p.m. Sunday with a third person in the 400 block of Oneida Street. Adams also is charged with receiving stolen property, and Carini faces other charges of theft and drug delivery. Both are in Westmoreland County jail on $20,000 bonds set Monday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
PFA violation alleged: Stephen P. Greyshock, 47, of 568 Park Way, Monongahela, is charged by Monongahela police with trespassing over allegations he went to 567 Park Way about 1 p.m. June 13 in violation of a court order barring him from going to that residence, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued Greyshock the charge in a summons Monday.
Theft: Betty Phillips, of 1015 Arch St., reported Monday that her son’s black bike was stolen off of her porch around midnight Sunday, Washington police said.
Harassment: Marc Zavallo, of 22 Anderson Drive, reported Monday he was trying to evict a tenant, Wayne Bruce, of 706 Ewing St., when Bruce threatened to destroy property and hurt Zavallo, Washington police said. Zavallo will be sent summons for a charge of harassment.
Drug charges: An employee from Ducky’s Car Wash, at 3190 Jefferson Ave., reported Monday a suspect wanted on bench warrants was at the car wash and when police gave chase to the wanted man, Charles Earlywine, 42, of 108 Brady Ave., a pill bottle containing 27 stamp bags of heroin fell out of his pocket, Washington police said. Earlywine faces a charge of drug possession and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Welfare fraud: Ian Holt, 36, and Jennifer Holt, 35, both formerly of 103 E. Katherine St., each face a felony charge of welfare fraud by summons for claiming nearly $3,000 in food stamps and $9,500 in medical assistance from Pennsylvania welfare services while living out of state and lying about their living situation, according to documents filed from the office of the Pittsburgh Inspector General.
