Police: Heroin found in Fallowfield apartment

A Fallowfield Township man was charged Wednesday in connection with a June 28 drug bust police said uncovered 50 stamp bags of heroin.

According to the complaint, the state probation department advised the Washington County Drug Task Force Donald Franks, 47, was selling heroin out of his apartment at 25 Coppi Lane. Officers with both agencies performed a compliance check and allegedly found 50 stamp bags of heroin in a bedroom, $800 in Franks’ pocket, a cellphone allegedly used in the distribution of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Charges of 50 counts of possession with intent to deliver, 10 counts of criminal use of a communication facility, 50 counts of possession of a controlled substance and a count of possession of drug paraphernalia will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Larry Hopkins.
