Police beat July 9
Harassment: James W. Hayes, 41, of 211 Nazer St., Waynesburg, was charged by Waynesburg police with disorderly conduct and harassment for allegedly striking a 44-year-old Waynesburg man Wednesday, according to a criminal complaint. Police said the two men were arguing publicly in the 200 block of West High Street in Waynesburg. When police arrived on scene, Hayes allegedly continued to yell and act out after police told him to calm down, according to the complaint.
