Fun in the Sun benefits Make-A-Wish
Fun in the Sun Day to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. July 24 at West Newton Lions Field.
There will be a bounce house, music, train rides, face-painting, games and food.
The event is being held in addition to the Zombek Christmas Light Display, which runs from Nov. 26 to Jan. 3. Last year the display raised $8,400, which was enough to grant two wishes to local youngsters. This year’s goal is $11,700, enough to grant three wishes.
