Beams stolen: Six steel H-beams were stolen from behind a garage at the corner of Richhill and High streets between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Thursday, Waynesburg police said. The beams, two of them 7 feet long and four of them 8 feet long, are owned by Lloyd Bedilion of Waynesburg.

Minor injuries: One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2:24 p.m. Thursday at Richhill and Wayne streets, Waynesburg police said. Police said William Moehring Jr., 21, of Eighty Four, was driving south on Richhill Street when his car collided with a garbage truck traveling east on Wayne Street and driven by Montgomery Davis, 46, of Fairchance. Police said Moehring, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, will be cited for traveling at an unsafe speed.
