2 men killed, woman hurt when car flips in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say two men have been killed and a woman injured after the car they were in crashed and flipped near a gas station.

Police say they were called to the crash about 1:15 a.m. Friday and found the car’s 28-year-old driver, Henry Ruiz Jr., dead.

Two passengers in the car were taken to UPMC-Mercy hospital. One of them, 40-year-old William Sinagra, died a short time later. A 28-yaer-old woman, whose name hasn’t been released, was in stable condition.

Police say all three people in the car are from the city’s Spring Garden neighborhood. Investigators believe speeding may have led to the crash.
