Saint Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 775 N. Main St., Washington, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $3 for children. Dinner will include spaghetti with a choice of meatballs or sausage, salad, homemade rolls or fresh bread, beverage and a variety of desserts.
The Knights of Columbus of St. Damien’s Parish in Monongahela will hold a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Father Leger Hall/Madonna Cafeteria, 731 Chess St., Monongahela. Admission is $5 and includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea and juice. Children younger than 2 eat for free. Proceeds benefit Madonna Catholic Regional School.
St. Paul Baptist Church, 49 S. McKean Ave., Donora, will kick off its 100th church anniversary with a “Celebrating 100 Years in Song Concert” at 3 p.m. Sunday. The concert will include the seven-piece band Living Word Congregational Church of Jeannette, the Taylor singers, Trudy and Sheri Taylor-Anderson of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Charleroi, the Cook singers, Sheila and Christina Cook Hickman of St. Pau, and soloist the Rev. Linda King of New Beginnings Baptist Church, Uniontown.
Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, Bethel Park, will host a Fall Festival Craft Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 23-24. There will be 58 crafters, a half-off table, lunch and refreshments. Admission is free and proceeds benefit Prime Time Adult Care, a nonprofit organization offering medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation of the elderly and those with Alzheimer’s disease. Christian Center Church, 130 Charity Lane, Belle Vernon, will hold a vendor and craft show from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 24. In addition to vendors and crafters, there will be food and a Chinese auction.
St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, will hold its 11th annual Classic Car Show Sept. 25 in the church parking lot. Registration begins at noon and ends at 2 p.m. and the show will be held until 4. Registration fee is $10, and the first 150 cars will receive dash plaques and gifts. More than 25 trophies will be awarded. Classes will include 1900-30, 1931-50, 1951-60, 1961-65, 1966-70, 1971-76, 1977-87 and 1988-2000. Arnie Amber will be the oldies DJ, there will be a 50/50 drawing, a Byzantine auction and food will be available including sandwiches, soups, halushki and baked goods. A golf cart shuttle will also be available. Proceeds benefit the church maintenance fund.
