Stewart – Danyo
Samantha Danyo and Glenn Stewart were united in marriage August 6, 2016, at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg, with the Rev. John W. Neely officiating the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are David and Amelia Neely of Chartiers Township and Edward Danyo of Clayton, N.C. Her grandparents are Edward and Geraldine France of Canonsburg and the late Edward and Norma Danyo and the late John and Mary Alice Neely.
Parents of the bridegroom are Dennis and Michelle Stewart of Strattanville. His grandparents are Dennis P. and Sandra Stewart and S. Ray and Donna Daugherty, all of Clarion.
The bride was given in marriage by both of her fathers.
Maid of honor was Sarah Welsh of Philadelphia.
Bridesmaids were Amber Sledzik of Madison, Wis., Becca Sherman of San Francisco, Kellie Vernau of Dublin, Ohio, and Jessica Williams of Canonsburg, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Joslyn Jackovic of McMurray, cousin of the bride; Emily Rupar of Canonsburg, cousin of the bride; and Ellaina Jackovic of McMurray, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Lilian Cordell, goddaugher of the bride.
Best man was Benjamin Stewart of Strattanville, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Adam Yeany of Fairfax, Va., Jeff Coull of Pittsburgh, Chad Welsh of Niceville, Fla., Edward Danyo Jr. of Holly Springs, N.C., brother of the bride; and Justin Williams of Canonsburg, cousin of the bride.
Ring bearers were Jasper Vance, Evan Rupar and Jackson Vance, all cousins of the bride.
Vocalist was Deanna Rupar of Canonsburg, aunt of the bride, and acoustic guitar was played by Justin Williams of Canonsburg, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She is enrolled at Duquesne University in the Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program and is a registered nurse at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC.
Mr. Stewart is a 2008 graduate of Clarion Limestone High School and a 2012 graduate of Lake Erie College. He is enrolled at California University of Pennsylvania in the Educational Leadership Master’s Program and is a mathematics teacher in Washington School District.
A reception was held at Lingrow Farm.
The couple honeymooned in Ireland.
