Three Washington women face several charges filed last week by Mt. Pleasant Township police in connection with an incident last month on Meadow Street in Westland.

Charged were Shayla Sidney Chandler, 19, of 52 Laurel Ave.; Shaqua Lynn Robinson, 20, of 131 Jollick Manor; and Shaelynn Marie Saunoras, 23, of 675 Ewing St.

Police were called Sept. 21 for a report of several women outside a house trying to get another woman to come out of the residence and fight them. The 23-year-old woman who was inside the house stepped onto the porch to tell the women she had called 911 when an officer arrived. The three Washington women started yelling at her that she only came out because the police were there.

While an officer talked with the woman, Chandler, Robinson and Saunoras continued to be disorderly, with Robinson allegedly yelling an obscenity about police. The alleged victim told police Saunoras reportedly yelled threats at her and scratched her vehicle. Chandler also was allegedly yelling threats.

Chandler is charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.

Robinson is charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and false identification to police. Saunoras is charged with criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 17 before District Judge Traci McDonald.
