Police seek ‘armed, dangerous’ suspect, 17, in teen’s death
ALIQUIPPA (AP) – Authorities in Western Pennsylvania are looking for an “armed and dangerous” 17-year-old suspect who is charged as an adult in the drug-related slaying of a 16-year-old last week.
Beaver County authorities say Lawrence D. Reddick Jr. of Aliquippa is wanted in Thursday’s shooting of William Cade Booher.
Police say Booher and another youth, 17-year-old Dane Mathesius, of New Brighton, met Reddick in a car to sell him drugs. Instead, police say Reddick shot Booher in the head and Mathesius ran away and hasn’t been seen since.
Police say another teen in the car witnessed the shooting, and two others have been charged in connection to it.
Police were still searching for Reddick on Tuesday.
