A truck driver from McDonald suffered a minor injury Friday morning when the dump truck he was operating overturned on a Pittsburgh area highway.

State police said Joseph Allen Dolfi, 53, was driving east on Interstate 376 in Edgewood about 10 a.m. when the load of sand in the truck shifted, causing the vehicle to overturn onto the driver’s side. The sand spilled across both eastbound lanes of the highway, as did diesel fuel from the truck. Both lanes were restricted while crews cleared the road. One reopened about two hours after the accident, and the other sometime after 2 p.m.
