Pennsylvania Democratic Party will host a presidential debate watch from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. today at the campaign office, 14 S. Main St., Washington.
Fresh Fire Church will hold its next “Produce to People” distribution at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Fiddlers Building, Fayette County Fairgrounds, 134 Pechin Road, Dunbar. Volunteers are needed, starting at 8:30 a.m.
A home show fundraising event will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the community room of Washington Hospital. There will be name brand products for the kitchen and home and designer fragrances. The event is sponsored by Washington Hospital Auxiliary.
American Legion Riders of American Legion Post 175, 168 Park Ave., Washington, will host a charity bike run and fundraiser for baby Aviana Saturday. Registration is 10 a.m. and the ride will begin at 11. Cost is $15 per rider and $10 per passenger. There will be food, free draft beer, music and a Chinese auction. The Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., Washington, will hold a fall block party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be free food, games, prizes and crafts.

Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 1, in Room 104, Courthouse Square. The program speaker will be Paul Selvaggio, creative director for the Pittsburgh Zoo. His presentation will feature “Zoo Photography (25 years of animals) One Wild Place.” Visitors are welcome.
Star parties, sponsored by Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and 4:30 p.m and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Mingo Creek County Park Observatory, Mansion Hill Extension, past Shelter 10. Presentations about current events in astronomy will be held in the Richard Y. Haddad Planetarium.
Rock ‘n Scream Halloween Party will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at Chartiers Township Community Center. A Billy Joel concert on DVD will be played, followed by karaoke.
