PITTSBURGH (AP) – Authorities say a Western Pennsylvania woman has died from injuries she suffered in a car crash earlier this year.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office over the weekend said 22-year-old Kaitlyn Kearns of Irwin died last week from injuries she suffered in a Valentine’s Day crash.

Police have said a man was driving on the Fort Pitt Bridge in Pittsburgh when he struck a portion of the bridge. Kearns and two other adults were passengers in the car.

Kearns had been severely hurt. Authorities haven’t said how she died.

The driver and a passenger reportedly suffered moderate injuries. Another passenger suffered a minor injury.

Police have said no one was wearing a seatbelt. The cause of the crash was unclear.
