Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Steven M. Shaffer, 52, 710 Shaffer Road, Bulger; simple assault; charged July 7, 2015; sentence – 23 months of probation, prohibited from using and possessing firearms during probation and anger management classes.
Taryle James D. Ferguson, 27, 611 10th St., Monessen; possession with intent to deliver; charged Oct. 30; sentence – 23 months in the intermediate punishment program and three months of electric home monitoring.
Latoya M. Smith, 30, 1673 Streator Ave., Washington; retail theft; charged April 19; sentence – two years of probation, 50 hours of community service and no contact with Walmart and Giant Eagle.
Justin M. Hickox, 29, 416 Third St., Cresson; bad checks; charged Nov. 25, 2014; sentence – 18 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Tregembo Motors.
D’Andre Graffinread, 19, 766 Ewing St., Washington; statutory sexual assault; charged March 22; sentence – nine to 23 months in jail, two years of probation, sex offender counseling and no contact with victim.
Erica L. Smith, 37, 219 Johnston St., McDonald; possession of a controlled substance; charged Jan. 28; sentence – six months of probation.
Kathleen Conn, 29, 83 Sammy Angott Way, Washington; possession of a controlled substance and promoting prostitution; charged Nov. 22; sentence – 12 months of probation and 25 hours of community service.
Carrie M. Blakely, 30, of Pittsburgh; attempted theft by deception; charged Aug. 2, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Ralph McLaughlin, 44, 119 Locust St., Muse; criminal mischief and retail theft; charged May 20, 2015; sentence – 24 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Walmart.
Leah C. Pagano, 26, 945 Donnan Ave., Washington; institutional sexual assault; charged March 7; sentence – two years of probation and sexual offender counseling.
Ralph W. McLaughlin Jr., 44, 1946 Park Ave., Washington; driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana; charged July 18, 2014; sentence – one year less one day to two years less two days in jail, 120 days of probation, $1,500 fine, 30 months driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock.
Joseph A. Phillips Jr., 22, 333 Meadowbrook Road, Waynesburg; possession of a controlled substance; charged Aug. 20, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Chase R. Pelissero, 25, 420 2nd St., Donora; possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, stalking, harassment and criminal mischief; charged Feb. 5; sentence – one year less one day to two years less two days in jail and one year of probation.
