Washington, Peters police participating in Drug Take Back Day

Washington and Peters Township police departments will be among those participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which is being held Saturday by local law enforcement agencies to help remove unwanted and unused prescription drugs from households. The service is free with no questions asked.

Drop-off boxes will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at:

• Washington police department, 56 W. Strawberry Ave.

• Peters Township Public Library, 616 E. McMurray Road, McMurray

• Giant Eagle, 4017 Washington Road, McMurray

• Market District Express, 2840 Washington Road, McMurray

• Heisler’s Market, 601 E. McMurray Road, McMurray
