Derry beats McGuffey for first perfect regular season

CLAYSVILLE – Tyler Balega had 264 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries Friday night as Derry finished off the first unbeaten regular season in school history with a 52-22 Interstate Conference win over McGuffey.

Balega scored on runs of 2, 25, 15, 2 and 20 yards for Derry (7-0, 10-0).

Marcus Czulewicz had a touchdown rushing and one passing for McGuffey (3-4, 5-5), which also received a TD run from Connor Romestan.
