McGuffey ends skid, wins at Southmoreland
ALVERTON – Quarterback Marcus Czulewicz scored three touchdowns Friday night as McGuffey snapped a two-game losing streak with a 28-12 Interstate Conference win over Southmoreland at Russ Grimm Stadium.
Czulewicz scored on runs of 7 and 23 yards and finished with 134 rushing yards on 26 carries for the Highlanders (2-2, 4-3), who scored 28 unanswered points after falling behind 6-0 in the first quarter. Christian Clutter returned a punt 80 yards for a McGuffey touchdown.
Ronnie Robinson had 24 carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns for Southmoreland (1-3, 1-5).
