Parkway inspections planned this weekend

Work to inspect overhead bridges and signs on the Parkway West (Interstate 376) in Allegheny County will occur on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Single-lane closures will occur as needed from 7:30 a.m. to noon. On Saturday, inspections will be done on the inbound parkway between the Parkway Center on-ramp and Banksville Road on-ramp.
Shoulder closures will occur on inbound Banksville Road (Route 19) in the area under the ramp from southbound Route 19/westbound (outbound) I-376 to eastbound (inbound) I-376. Work will be done on the outbound parkway between the Green Tree and Carnegie exits.
On Sunday, inspections will be done on the inbound parkway between Carnegie and Green Tree.
Crews from HDR Engineering, Markosky Engineering and the Sofis Company will conduct the work.
