Warrant arrest: Marcus S. Kramer, 19, of Westland, was taken into custody Sunday on an adult probation warrant after he was found at a home on Center Avenue in Burgettstown, McDonald police said. He was placed in Washington County jail.

Machine broken into: An employee of Valley Used Cars, 503 First St., told Canonsburg police Monday a soft drink machine was broken into, and about $170 and $60 in beverages were stolen.

Vehicles entered: Cecil police said that three vehicles parked in the front lot of the Hilton Garden Inn, 1000 Corporate Drive, and the lone vehicle parked at Crown Castle Communications, 1500 Corporate Drive, had windows smashed late Friday or early Saturday. The damage was discovered just after 7 a.m. Saturday. Three vehicles had the back windows smashed and a car had the side window broken. Some items were reported stolen from the vehicles.

Warrant arrest: Robert T. Williams, 24, of St. Petersburg, Fla., was placed in Washington County jail Oct. 24 after a traffic stop on Dally Road. Williams was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by California Borough police. He was taken into custody because he had a fugitive from justice warrant and extradition papers from Florida. The driver and another passenger will be charged for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Drug charges: Ashley Finney, 27, of 19 Culley Lane, McDonald, was charged Monday by Mt. Pleasant police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Police were called to her home last week for a possible overdose. They said they found her with stamp bags of suspected heroin, needles and empty stamp bags. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.

Resisting, receiving charges: Cyrus Dunston, 22, who has no known address, was arrested Sunday night by South Strabane police on charges of resisting arrest, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct after being called to the BFS store, Park Place, for a report of a man who was in and out of the store for two hours. Police found him in a rest room. He allegedly refused police orders to show his hands and was taken to the floor. Police said they found him with items including a California University of Pennsylvania parking permit, an EZPass, car cellphone chargers, vehicle registration and a key to a Mitsubishi. A Mitsubishi found in the lot was reported stolen in Pleasant Hills. He also reportedly refused to identify himself and was taken to the state police barracks, where a scan of his fingerprints was done to determine his identity. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail without bond because he had no known address.

Man assaulted: Kevin Rohm of Finleyville told Washington police he was assaulted by a man on McAdam Avenue Monday while he was picking up his girlfriend. Police are continuing the investigation.

Window broken: Perry Reihner of Jollick Manor told Washington police the window of his vehicle was broken while the car was parked near his home early Tuesday.

Cellphone stolen: Zachary Matthews of Washington told Washington police Monday that his cellphone was stolen while he was working at Dairy Queen, 99 E. Wylie Ave., on Monday.

Faces charges: Faith Frenden, 35, of 766 Ewing St., was charged by Washington police with possession of paraphernalia after police say she was found on the sidewalk in front of her home after an apparent drug overdose Monday. Charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Mother arrested: Michelle Lee Plants, 46, of 130 Spruce Road, West Finley, was arrested Monday by state police on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening her 16-year-old daughter and punching her over the weekend during a confrontation at their home. Plants was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and was released from Washington County jail after posting $25,000 bond.
