Peters Township couple to sponsor Heartfest
Chris and Heidi Todd of Peters Township will sponsor their fifth annual Heartfest at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at Valley Brook Country Club, McMurray, to help raise money for the Mend a Heart Foundation.
Their daughter, 6-year-old Elizabeth, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, meaning she was born without the left side of her heart. Elizabeth has had three open-heart surgeries.
Mend a Heart is a nonprofit charitable organization whose mission is to fund research and initiatives that extend and enrich the lives of children born with CHD.
Heartfest includes dinner, entertainment, games, prizes and silent, live and Chinese auctions.
