Route 18 bridge work planned in Canton
There will be an overnight closure of a bridge on Route 18 (Henderson Avenue) between Monterey Avenue and North Hewitt Avenue/Oak Grove Road in Canton Township.
The bridge will be closed between 7 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be detoured.
The closure will allow the contractor to repair a backwall and replace expansion joints on the bridge that carries Route 18 over Chartiers Creek.
